About Me

I started quilting in the 90’s. It all started with a cross stitch pattern in a magazine. It was a cross stitched baby quilt. I remember working on it when I started college in 1990. I realized I was going to need to learn how to quilt in order to finish it. My local school system offered a beginning quilting class. That got me started and I never looked back. The cross stitch quilt got set aside. Quilting was my new hobby. It wasn’t until my husband and I were expecting in 2005 that I came across the UFO and picked it up again. I finished it just in time for our son’s birth.

After the birth of our son, I set aside quilting to focus on being a mother. Before I knew it, over ten years had gone by. It was thanks to a friend of my sister that I got back into quilting. She wanted to learn and wanted someone to take a quilting class with her. That was what I needed to get back into it.

Since then I have really found a group of ladies that really keep me inspired and now I don’t think I will ever stop!
